Yoga Classes

Our classes are for anyone and everyone regardless of age and prior knowledge of the practice.

 

Our Yoga classes are best described as mindful flows built on gradual sequencing guided with alignment cues.

As a Yoga student at Alska, you are always in charge of your practice. Practice :

A Fitness style with endurance and strength training

An Alignment based practice with a more traditional approach

A slow flow class where we are holding the poses for a longer time to get a deeper stretch for mobility

A restorative class that is more geared towards Meditation and Mindfulness.

All classes will come with its own intention but  are all guided from your breath. We are using movement and breath as a vessel to connect with our bodies. Through the art of movement and sensation are we connecting to a higher awareness of who we are

Our Private Session allows you to dive deeper into your personal practice. Your intention will be our intention.

 

Our Private classes allows you to connect with your instructor. where we will create an individualized program that will progress your practice safely and efficiently.

Baby Yoga

KIDS YOGA

Kids Yoga is an amazing opportunity for the child to practice patience, calmness and improve emotional regulation.

 

It helps kids to relax, relieve stress and anxiety, to sleep better, increase empathy, and improve mood and affect.

For kids, a lot of the stress they are experience  due to new environments, tests in school and the ability to make friends and fit in is something they are  just learning about. They often don’t know what it is or how to handle it.

 

At Alska our goal is to provide them with effective and appropriate tools to help them manage their emotions. This will look like breathing exercises, simple games. short meditations and some appropriate movement to get the wiggles out.

Yoga at Home

ONLINE SESSION

The Private Session allows you to dive deeper into yoga practice. The focus is on alignment and breath, and a special emphasis on proper technique helps you reconnect and rejuvenate your body. This is a popular one, so go ahead and book today.
